2 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 package Ramen noodles, crushed, packet reserved
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 medium cabbage, shredded
5 green onions, chopped
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the sesame seeds and almonds on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. In a small bowl, mix together the oil, vinegar, Ramen spice packet and sugar. In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded cabbage, green onions and Ramen noodles. Pour the sauce onto the cabbage mixture and toss until coated. Place the toasted sesame seeds and almonds on top, chill and serve.
Oh man, this was tangy and sweet. SO good and the girls gobbled it up. This was really easy to make and delightful for summer time.
