3 1/2 cups diced potatoes
1/3 cup sliced celery
3/4 cup cooked, chopped ham
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons chicken bouillon, crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
5 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
Combine potatoes, celery, onion, ham and water; bring to a boil. Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Stir in bouillon, salt and pepper. In a separate pan, melt butter. Whisk in flour, stirring constantly until thick. Slowly stir in milk; continue stirring until thick, about 4-5 minutes. Stir milk mixture into soup and cook until heated.
YUM. This is one of our favorite soups for the fall/winter. Filling & extra good with sour cream and cheese!
